JDRF thanks Members of Congress for taking action to make insulin more affordable by including a $35 per month out-of-pocket cap for people with Medicare or commercial insurance in the budget deal currently under consideration by the U.S. House of Representatives. This legislation is a significant step towards national insulin affordability, a cause for which JDRF and our vast community of volunteers have long advocated.

Although today’s actions represent significant progress, we must do more. While we continue to advance research for cures, JDRF is committed to working with Congress, the Biden Administration, and all other stakeholders to ensure everyone has access to affordable insulin.
