JDRF One Walk Partners with Snap Inc.

10 of the major JDRF One Walks, including Los Angeles, will have a One Walk Geofilter during the duration of the events.

Nichole Ringer, JDRF’s National Manager, One Walk, expressed her excitement about this new partnership. “We’re delighted to be partnered with Snap and feature their fun, interactive Geofilters at select JDRF One Walk sites this Fall. We are always looking for new and innovative ways to freshen and enhance our Walk day experience for our participants, who each year raise over $60M for type 1 diabetes research, and are eager to see how they engage with this new asset.  Thanks to Snap for helping us create more fun and more community at JDRF One Walks!”

JDRF One Walk Los Angeles is on October 20 at the Rose Bowl Stadium. JDRF One Walk is the largest and most powerful peer-to-peer fundraising program in the world for T1D. This funding has enabled research on how to prevent, delay and ultimately cure T1D. It has led to life-changing drugs, treatments and devices, many of which have already moved into clinical trials and real-world testing.

Besides One Walk LA, JDRF One Walks who will have the Walk Snapchat Geofilter are Atlanta, San Francisco, Houston, Minneapolis, San Diego, Raleigh, Plano, Anaheim and Jersey City.
