Lions Stride the Boardwalk for type 1 diabetes

Last month, the Lions Club held their 97th Annual State Convention in Atlantic City. For the third year in a row, the Lions have hosted the Lions Stride Walk to raise money and awareness of type 1 diabetes.

The Lions Stride Walk is the brainchild of immediate past district governor for District 16L, Bob Freidel. This year, the Lions Stride Walk raised over $4,000, bringing the three year total to over $12,000 raised for the JDRF South Jersey Chapter! Special thanks to the Lions Club and Donna Freidel, Chair for Diabetes Awareness and Action in District 16L and Barbara Corsaro, District 16N Chair and Multi-District Chair for Diabetes Awareness and Action.
