The JDRF Southwest Ohio Emerging Leaders Council was developed to provide an opportunity for the chapter’s young professionals and next generation of volunteer leaders to get acclimated to the organization and start making an impact toward finding  cure for type 1 diabetes. The ELC hosts various networking events throughout the year, and is responsible for organizing and hosting the annual Bourbon & BowTie Bash, which each year draws more than 1,500 guests.
