Albany, NY — We are excited to announce the return of an in-person Type 1 diabetes (T1D) support group for school age children (K-12) with T1D and parents of children with T1D: Type One Diabetes Connections Program

Bring On The Spectrum Community Space & Sensory Gym

71 Fuller Rd, Colonie, NY 12205

Beginning on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 @ 6:30 PM

Subsequent meetings will be held on the first Wednesday of every month! In-person meetings will not be held during the months of June, July, or August.

This group is intended for children (K-12 ages) with T1D, and caregivers of children of any age with T1D. Children will have their own space to connect and relate with each other, while caregivers are able to talk amongst themselves about the challenges and triumphs in caring for a young one with T1D.

Join us for our Monthly Family Zoom meetings! These meetings are intended for caregivers & parents of children with T1D, and they take place monthly on the 1st Wednesday of every month. They are hosted by our Development Coordinator, Marianna Seefeldt. Please reach out to Marianna at mseefeldt@jdrf.org for access to the Zoom meeting!
