Meet the JDRF Virginia Staff!

Hi! We’re the JDRF Virginia. You have probably worked with some of us before, but now that we’re one big team we want to take a moment to tell you a little about ourselves:

 

Amber Mueller– Executive Director

Amber has been with JDRF for 4 years and is our fearless leader!

Fun Fact: I am a twin and have boy/girl 4 year old twins myself!

 

Richmond Based Team

Christina Gunter– Senior Development Manager

Christina is in charge of the black tie gala in Richmond and secures sponsorship for all Richmond-based events.

Fun Fact: I worked in Minor League Baseball before my career in the non-profit world, and I am an avid

Cleveland sports fan and love cheering on THE Ohio State Buckeyes! O-H!!

 

Tara Lantz– Development Coordinator

Tara has been with JDRF for 3 years and is the One Walk RVA Lead.

Fun Fact: Tara is out on maternity leave, and will be back full time in January. We miss her so much!

 

Sarah Brawley– Outreach Coordinator

Sarah has been with JDRF for 6 months and is the state wide Outreach Lead.

Fun Fact: I was diagnosed with T1D when I was 14 and was a synchronized swimmer for 9 years- I even got to compete in the U.S. Open in Hawaii!

 

Brittany Goodwin– Office Manager

Brittany is our uber organized and meticulous office manager who is in charge of all things finance.

Fun Fact: I am obsessed with dogs!

 

Roanoke Based Team (Remote Offices starting January 1)

 

Charlotte Kidd– Market Director

Charlotte has been with JDRF for 13 years and oversees the One Walk and Gala in the Greater Blue Ridge Region

Fun Fact: I love everything outdoors! Hiking, biking, jogging, and all things like that!

 

Marnie Mills- Development Coordinator

Marnie started with the JDRF Virginia Team in September puts on the One Walk and Gala in Roanoke.

Fun Fact: My first language is Croatian!

 

Hampton Roads Based Team (Remote Offices)

Anna Pishko– Development Coordinator

Anna has been with JDRF for 2 years and is the lead for the Hampton Roads One Walk.

Fun Fact: I lived in a haunted house in college. The ghost was pretty nice- for a ghost!

 

Laurie Storch– Development Assistant

Laurie has been with JDRF for 1.5 years, is the chapter Ride to Cure Lead, and the Hampton Roads office manager.

Fun Fact: I used to live on an island in Alaska!
