The Virginia Chapter Ride team is off to an amazing start in 2020!

Here are some of the impressive details by the numbers:

30: the number of Virginia Chapter riders already registered

#1: Josh Carey, who has already raised $6,000 and is the top fundraiser for the La Crosse, WI

50: the total number of Virginia Chapter riders we expect this year

$16,400: money already raised by Virginia Chapter!!!

5: the number of Virginia Chapter riders currently in the top 20 fundraisers for the La Crosse, WI ride (Josh Carey, Daniel Majikes, Matthew Majikes, McKenzie Wallace, and Devan Michael – 3 of whom are first-time riders!)

20: approximate slots left in the Grand Rapids ride as of Friday, 1/31. Register NOW if this is the ride you want to do!

If this is what our chapter did in the first two weeks, imagine what we can accomplish by the summer!

Reminder: Laurie Storch is the point of contact for ALL riders across the state.  You can go to her with any questions at all about anything related to your ride – fundraising, event weekend logistics – you name it! Questions regarding training, equipment, hydration and nutrition while on the bike, etc., can best be answered by your coaches, who are looking forward to getting to know you over the coming weeks and months. We are all here to support you as you help us ride towards a cure for T1D, one dollar and one mile at a time!
