T1D Exercise Study – Participants Wanted!

in

Do you have type 1 diabetes? We are currently recruiting participants for an exercise intervention!!!

The study will include group fitness classes at FITOLOGY and a series of tests before, during and after the intervention.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate how exercise could improve blood sugar control of adults and adolescents with type 1 diabetes. We will look at your blood sugars over two 6-week periods and take a hemoglobin A1c test at 6 points during the study. We will also complete brief strength tests and a BodPod body composition measurement. You will be compensated monetarily for your time during the tests and you will receive a one month membership for unlimited classes to FITOLOGY after the study ends.
