Each year, our chapter hosts two golf events in Allegheny and Westmoreland counties. The 28^th Annual Tee Up to Cure Diabetes was held at Allegheny Country Club on Monday, July 23^rd. Run by our Development Manager, Shannon Davis, and Tee Up Chair, Bill Helpfinger, the event was one to remember!  A week later on 30^th, the Summer Golf Classic was held at Latrobe Country Club. Even though the morning started with some rain, it did not slow down all the golfers ready to play! Golfers had a great time watching Trevor Consavage, a six-time world long drive champion, do trick shots out on the course. This fantastic day was run by our Development Manager, Heather Billstone, with J.D. Shearer and David Maxwell as co-chairs. Both golf events in total raised nearly $200,000 for JDRF! Thank you to everyone that was able to attend these awesome events!
