We are so excited to introduce our new Development Coordinator, Emily Zikoski! Emily will be taking on the Ride to Cure Diabetes, the Westmoreland One Walk, as well as all chapter communications (including this newsletter!). Emily previously worked at the Pittsburgh Pirates in social media and communications.

Emily loves listening to music, watching baseball, and spending time with her family. You’ll often find Emily, her boyfriend Matt, and their dog Cooper traveling around in their Jeep. She was diagnosed with Type 1 on October 24, 2016 at the age of 22 and has been involved with JDRF as a volunteer ever since. Emily says she is honored to now be a member of the Western PA staff and is excited to meet and work with all of the families we serve! Give Emily a big JDRF welcome!
