We are officially starting the countdown at less than 100 days until Walk Week! Here at the Western PA Chapter, we are already starting to plan so many fun things for Walk day, and we’re excited to have you join us this year! Check out everything you need to know about Walk this month:

• Registration is OPEN at walk.jdrf.org! Register your team, fundraise for a cure, and celebrate with us on Walk Day at Pittsburgh on September 21, 2019 or Westmoreland on September 28, 2019! Thank you to our 100+ teams who have registered so far!
• The JDRF One Walk Kickoff is just weeks away! Join us to celebrate the start of Walk season, and learn how your fundraising supports exciting advances in T1D research! This event is FREE to all persons registered for the Walk and will include a light breakfast, free admission to the Aviary, and more!

• Attention to our friends in Greensburg and surrounding areas! Mark your calendars for JDRF Picnic in the Park: Westmoreland on August 4, 2019 at Twin Lakes Park! We’ll supply the food, drinks, and fun at this free picnic at Peach Plaza (Pavilion 10) from 12pm – 2pm – just bring you, your friends, and your family! Food will include gluten-free options and several sugar-free flavors from Kona Ice of Westmoreland! Come out, enjoy the afternoon, and meet fellow T1Ds and Walk teams!
