Get Out and Get Moving—Challenge Yourself!

in ,

Summertime is finally here, and we are loving this sunny weather! It’s the perfect time to get outside and go for a run or a bike ride. Just don’t forget your low snacks!  Check out these fundraising challenges happening nationally for JDRF:

Ragnar Relay

Join the 200 for T1D challenge! Ragnar Relay and JDRF have joined forces to create a virtual challenge that keeps you connected with friends, family and coworkers, and provides an opportunity to support the millions of people all over the world impacted by type 1 diabetes (T1D).

Over the weekend of June 19-21, teams of runners will do ‘200 for T1D’, collectively running 200 miles together, but physically apart so that we all remain safe during these uncertain times.

Grab your virtual baton, and get cures for type 1 diabetes across the finish line by running 200 for T1D. For more information, click here!

Ride to Cure Diabetes: Gone Virtual!

Despite the challenges that the COVID-19 pandemic poses to the traditional 2020 JDRF Ride to Cure events, you can still be a part of the JDRF Ride community without attending an in-person Ride weekend, through JDRF My Ride.

JDRF My Ride is for all cyclists – beginner or experienced – who share the commitment to JDRF’s mission. There are no registration fees or minimum fundraising requirements. In place of our traditional events we are offering a series of fitness and fundraising challenges that also support our JDRF Ride community. We invite you to join us! Click here for more information on My Ride!

If you’re interested in being involved in these challenge events, please contact Carling Nolan at the Western PA Chapter by calling 412-258-1319 or emailing cnolan@jdrf.org.
