Parents, school nurses, and various other health care professionals recently were invited to attend an event called “Taking Diabetes to School” to develop a better understanding of issues, concerns, and possible solutions for students with diabetes. The event included guest speaker, Jeffery Perzan, who is the Chair of the Wisconsin Diabetes Advisory Group.
