Each year, 40,000 individuals are diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (T1D) in the United States. In addition to coping with a lifelong dependence on insulin, these adults and children must face the constant threat of devastating, life-threatening complications. T1D requires intensive, 24/7 management; there are no days off and currently there is no cure. JDRF is working to change that!

On Saturday, April 14, 2018, the JDRF Western Wisconsin Chapter will be hosting the 20th Anniversary JDRF Spring Gala at a new location, Madison Marriott West. The Gala will be an extraordinary event, attended by more than 600 members of our community who represent some of the region’s leading business, civic, and cultural leaders. Last year’s event raised nearly $500,000 and this year we are hoping to surpass that!
