Help Us Finish Strong with the JDRF One Walk

in , ,

On behalf of the JDRF Western Wisconsin Chapter, we would like to thank everyone who contributed to the 2018 JDRF One Walk – Madison. More than 2,000 walkers attended the JDRF One Walk, raising approximately $230,000 for type 1 diabetes (T1D) research! While this is an incredible amount, we still need help to reach our goal! Here are some ways that you can get involved and help us get closer to a cure:

  • Make a donation to the event! If you participated in the Walk, make a donation to your Team page. If you did not participate in the Walk, you can donate to a Team or to the overall event.
  • Utilize Facebook to share the event and let your friends, family, colleagues, etc. know that they can help progress vital type 1 diabetes research by donating to the JDRF One Walk. You can set up an official Facebook Fundraiser or just share the event website link!
  • Check with your employer to see if they have a a matching gifts program and you can double your impact. JDRF has made it easy to learn more about matching gifts programs here.

We would like to thank our event sponsors for all the help they provided in making our Walk great and for their continued support of the type 1 diabetes community!

  • JDRF One Walk – Madison Sponsors:  Hy-Vee, Sub Zero and Wolf, Coyle Carpet One, WPS Health Solutions,  UW Health/UnityPoint Health – Meriter/Quartz, Madison Family Dental, Alliant Energy, J.H. Finally, we would like to recognize the volunteers who dedicated their time and energy to help us turn type one into type none! There are far too many to list, but please know that we appreciate each and every one of you. The JDRF One Walk would not be possible without you!
