Tee Up Fore the Cure is an annual golf outing hosted by our partners at ITU AbsorbTech. This outing is a unique experience, with every foursome teamed up with a local sports celebrity! This annual event supports JDRF and the Max McGee Center for Juvenile Diabetes Research at Children’s Wisconsin. This year’s featured celebrity was Junior Bridgeman, a highly successful fast-food entrepreneur who played 12 NBA seasons from 1975 to 1987, including 10 with the Milwaukee Bucks. Final total to JDRF is still being calculated, but we know it will make an impact!

Hosted by our partners at Cordeck, this fun casino night and Texas Hold ‘Em tournament is fun for all! Final totals from the event are still being firmed up.
KMA Cares Golf Outing
October 4, Middleton
Originally scheduled in August, but moved to October due to extreme weather, the folks at KMA Accountants made the pivot and put on another great event to support type 1 research, raising $25,000 for JDRF!
Balk Golf Outing
This was the first year for this family run outing! Kaitlyn Balk said, “The reason I put this on and why it means so much to me, is because my daughter Charli Rae was diagnosed at age 2 1/2. November 13th of this year will mark 3 years for her being T1D. I will never stop fighting for her! I truly believe in her lifetime we will see something magical happen with diabetes!” They raised over $22,000 to support JDRF!
Luke Fenhaus and Luke Fenhaus Racing did a variety of different fundraisers during their 2021 racing season. Cumulatively they were able to raise more than $8,000!
