We want YOU to be a JDRF Wisconsin Youth Ambassador!

Do you know any dynamic kids looking to represent JDRF Wisconsin as a Youth Ambassador?
We are looking for kids between the ages of 5-18 to join us as Youth Ambassadors(YA) for the Wisconsin Chapter. To be considered for the YA program applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Between the ages of 5 – 18 years (Kindergarten – Grade 12)
- Living with T1D for at least one year
- Have a positive outlook on life and diabetes
- Commit to the annual term (January 1 – December 31)
- Volunteer a minimum of 5 hours to support JDRF programs and / or events
- Attend and / or participate in a minimum of 4 JDRF engagements, including 2 required activities:
- One speaking engagement
- One fundraising event such as One Walk, Ride, Gala or JDRF Your Way
- Attend Youth Ambassador Orientation in January
Parents and / or guardians have a responsibility in ensuring their child’s success in the program:
- Review the application with their child
- Provide permission to participate
- Assist, as needed, with program support
- Provide transportation to JDRF events and activities
