We invite you and your family to help us kick off Walk season in Atlanta at Andretti Indoor Karting & Games on Saturday, August 12th! At the Kick Off, you will connect with others affected by type one diabetes, learn more about launching a successful fundraising campaign for Walk and hear about the amazing progress that is being made in T1D research. Special guest speakers include Kris Bagwell, a participant in the Artificial Pancreas trial, and one of our veteran Walk teams. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to hear their incredible stories and why they are involved with JDRF!
After the Kick Off event, we invite you to stick around for Andretti’s high speed karting, state of the art games and thrilling attractions. All Kick Off attendees will receive a game card for use that day.

Don’t forget to register for a JDRF One Walk near to you!
Registration for the JDRF One Walk is now open and we invite you to join a community of people affected by type 1 diabetes (T1D) at walks in Columbus (September 30), Athens (October 8) and Atlanta (October 21).
At the JDRF One Walk, you’ll find people just like you – children, adults, families, co-workers, and friends – walking together because they are committed to finding a cure for T1D. Whether you’re a first-timer or veteran walker, the connection and camaraderie you’ll experience will be life-changing. And because so many others have turned this experience into successful fundraising, we’ve been able to raise more than $1 billion dollars for groundbreaking discoveries in T1D research.
Remember, the earlier you sign up, the more money you can raise for T1D research. If you have any questions, please contact the JDRF Georgia Chapter at firstname.lastname@example.org or 404.420.5990.
Thank you for your support!
