JDRF One Walk Houston is a FREE family-friendly event. We encourage you to bring out the entire family along with your friends and co-workers to join us Saturday, October 22, 2016, at NRG Park in the Westridge Lot (corner of Westridge and Kirby).

Schedule of Events

7:30 a.m.-9:00 a.m. – JDRF Check-In Tent open for money drop-off.  Entertainment begins.

 8:40 a.m. – Opening Ceremony

 9:00 a.m. – Official Start

8:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. – Food, activities, and entertainment
Starting at 9 am, walkers will enjoy a walk around the grounds of NRG Park with refreshments and entertainment along the way. Immediately following Walk, we invite you to enjoy a morning of free food, entertainment and activities for kids and adults of all ages. Strollers and wagons are permitted. This is a pet-friendly Walk, so bring your (friendly!) dog along (on a leash)!

We’ll have music, kids activities and plenty of family fun including: JDRF Social Media Wall ∙ Face Painters ∙ Carnival Games ∙ Petting Zoo ∙ Gaming Truck ∙ Photo Zone ∙ Crazy Hair Station ∙   Music from DJs Unlimited ∙ Live music by Black Cat Ridge and more!

Parking: Complimentary parking available in the NRG Main Street lot (Yellow Lot) on Main Street between Murworth and McNee.

Important reminders….

Walkers who raise $100 or more will receive the official 2016 One Walk T-Shirt!  Head over to the registration tent to get your t-shirt ticket and then head right over to the t-shirt tent to pick your shirt up!

V1P Walkers (walkers who raise $1,000 or more) will have an expedited check-in process at the registration tent where they can pick up their V1P lanyard to gain exclusive access to the V1P tent!

Is this your first walk?  Make sure to swing by the New Family tent to meet some of our staff and volunteers and to pick up a gift on behalf of JDRF!

If you are a walker living with T1D, we have a token of recognition for you – make sure to swing by the t-shirt tent to pick up your JDRF bandana!
