Do you know a hero? Now is your chance to honor them! To kick off the 2018 year, we are asking for your help nominating an Everyday Hero in your community!

Everyday Heroes is our monthly newsletter series recognizing individuals, families or business that go above and beyond to serve our local T1D community. Nicole Pilek — our first Everyday Hero — is a social worker touching the lives of thousands affected by T1D through her work. Brielle Downes, a 27-year-old who grew up bullied and depressed because of her diabetes now serves as a mentor to at-risk teens going through similar experiences. Scott Benner and Jack Stack provide extraordinary support of our T1D community.

And so, we ask you to think about the people in your lives — the nurses, camp counselors, coaches — who have gone above and beyond to help our community and nominate them here!
