2018 Ride Dates and New Locations

Save the Date! Registration opens on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 10:00am MST.

The JDRF Ride to Cure Diabetes is a charitable bike ride that to date has raised over $38 million for type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. The Ride gives cyclists of all ages and skill levels the opportunity fundraise for JDRF, the global leader in T1D research.

The JDRF Ride isn’t just a bike ride: it’s where hundreds of riders come together from all over the world to make new friendships, experience the unparalleled camaraderie of the Ride community and raise money to find a cure for T1D.

Choose from five stunning destinations:

Returning Rides

  • La Crosse, WI: August 9 – 12
  • Loveland, CO: August 23 ā€“ 26 – **LOCAL DESTINATION**
  • Saratoga Springs, NY: September 13 – 16
  • Amelia Island, FL: October 4 ā€“ 7

New Locations

  • Santa Fe, NM: November 1 – 4

Santa Fe is a historic city thatā€™s known for its beauty, charm and culture. Our newest JDRF Ride includes multiple routes up to 100 miles through the moderately hilly, scenic terrain of the American southwest.

 

  • Death Valley, CA: October 18 – 21

Death Valley returns to the ride destinations after a year off. Visit the fully renovated Oasis at Death Valley hotel and experience the otherworldly landscape of Death Valley, where the Ride to Cure Diabetes began 20 years ago. Spaces are Limited – Riders interested in participating in Death Valley should plan to register at 10am on January 17th. Once the spaces are filled, riders will be placed on a waiting list.Ā
