JDRF Re-Imagines the TypeOneNation Summit into Virtual National Event
New York, September 21, 2020—JDRF, the leading global funder of type 1 diabetes (T1D) research, announces the newly reimagined TypeOneNation Summit.
JDRF’s Virtual TypeOneNation Summit is a national event that will bring together the type 1 diabetes (T1D) community from coast-to-coast for a day of education and interactive experiences. T1D Families will have the opportunity to attend sessions on topics that matter most to them, interact with a lineup of powerful speakers, learn about the latest research advancements from T1D experts, visit with industry partners in the exhibition hall and connect with peers from across the country.

This interactive day of learning is for people of all ages and stages of life with T1D and their loved ones. Registration is free. Celebrity guests include: Singer and bassist in the band HAIM Este Haim, Grammy-nominated artist and hit songwriter Eric Paslay, Music Duo Hello Sunday from The Voice, Actor Derek Theler, World Champion Stand-Up Paddler and Windsurfer Fiona Wylde.

Virtual Happy Hour, Friday, September 25th from 7:00 pm ET (4:00 pm PT) – 8:30 pm ET (5:30 pm PT) Hosted by Beyond Type 1, we invite young adults between the ages of 18 to 30 to kick back after a long week, play a few games, and see a few familiar faces!
TypeOneNation Summit, Saturday, September 26th 12:00 am ET (9:00 am PT) – 3:00 pm ET (12:00 noon PT). The virtual doors will open at 11:50 am ET (8:50 am PT), with the program starting promptly at 12:00 am ET (9:00 am PT). In addition to sessions the event will include a rally for JDRF One Walk, along with time for networking and visiting the Vendor Exhibition Hall will occur until 4:00 pm ET (1:00 pm PT). |
