Looking for support in the Bay Area? You are not alone in your journey with type 1 diabetes (T1D). These groups offer great opportunities for people with T1D, and their caregivers, friends and family. Adult Type 1 and Type 1.5 Diabetes Support Group – North Bay, An educational and fun social group for people with T1D and type 1.5 or latent autoimmune diabetes of adults (LADA). This group meets once a month from September through May. To join please call Yvonne at 707-838-4657.

D1aBosses, D1aBosses provides guidance, support and empowerment to newly diagnosed tweens and teens. Our T1D teens want to make sure that those who are newly diagnosed know they are not alone! We are available to simply talk teen to teen or provide guidance and support any time. T1D Marin – Touching lives touched by type 1 diabetes, T1D Marin is a support group for families whose lives have been touched by type 1 diabetes. The group has monthly meetings, a lecture series, and family gatherings throughout the year. They offer great resource, advice, community (and a bit of levity) with this challenging and ever-changing condition.
