It’s been a busy week at JDRF Advocacy and I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for supporting our type 1 advocacy efforts over the past several days. I love it when our calls-to-action give JDRF Advocates the opportunity to jump into action and make a difference by not only supporting JDRF funded research, but also being empowered to reach out to their legislators to speak up on behalf of those living and/or impacted by type 1 diabetes.

Over the last fours years, since I have been on the JDRF Advocacy team, I have experienced first hand the passion of our Advocates being put into action. The JDRF legislative agenda has only been so successful because of the support we derive from your efforts! Bearing this important aspect of our advocacy efforts in mind, I want to remind you that we’ll be asking you to take action one more time before the end of year. So be on the look out for our next call-to-action in early December, and once again, thanks for all your support and for all that you do for JDRF!
