Hailey, along with her big sister, will be a delegate for the 2011 Children’s Congress! Friendship and togetherness have proven to be sources of extraordinary
strength for Hailey. Diagnosed with type 1 at age three, she was not
always met with immediate understanding by other young children. But
when she met a girl with type 2 diabetes, a friendship formed between
them – one that lasts to this day. That bond has helped make Hailey’s
