The feedback from Promise meetings has started rolling in, and I want to make sure you get a chance to hear all about the different meetings our advocates have attended across the country. Starting today, we will be doing a weekly meeting digest highlighting some of the feedback we have received. Check out some of the recently completed meetings below!

• The first Promise meeting in California was held with Representative Mary Bono Mack (CA-45). You can see how much fun the attendees had in the photo above; head over to the Promise site to learn how their meeting went!

• Campaign coordinators from Pennsylvania are on a roll! We have received summaries from the Promise meetings with Representative Joe Pitts (PA-16), Representative Charlie Dent (PA-15), and Representative Mike Fitzpatrick (PA-8). 

• Advocates in Missouri have held meetings with Representative Jo Ann Emerson (MO-8) and Representative Russ Carnahan (MO-8). These meetings were particularly interesting because both had attendees who had been to the previous 3 Promise meetings with those Members of Congress!

• Minnesota advocates had the chance to meet with Representative Erik Paulsen (MN-3). In addition to the meeting summary, you can check out the video from Representative Paulsen himself recounting his Promise experience:

• Iowa advocates have been extremely effective in advocating for an artificial pancreas during the Promise Campaign this far. They have already met with Representative Tom Latham (IA-4) and Representative Leonard Boswell (IA-3).

• Three JDRF advocates had the chance to meet with Representative Barney Frank (MA-4) just two days ago. The attendees even got to view his photo album from the inauguration of President Obama!
