It has been a busy week here at JDRF Advocacy! On Monday and Tuesday, advocates were fervently fighting for research funding by meeting with Members of Congress on Capitol Hill as a part of JDRF’s Government Day event. The attendees met with a total of 504 Member offices! Advocates who were unable to attend Government Day have been bringing the event back to their hometowns by attending Promise Campaign meetings. These meetings are equally as important as those held on Capitol Hill earlier this week, if not more!
