JDRF Greater Dallas is hosting an Off to College event!
Held on August 5th from 2:00 – 4:00, at SMU, in the Umphrey Lee Center at 3300 Dyer St, Dallas, TX 75205 in room 237.

The schedule will consist of:
• Dr. Pablo Mora, CDE Dana Roseman and CDE Alicia Rowe will teach us about the medical aspects of going away to college.
• A panel of current college students living with T1D and their parents will discuss the real life lessons and things they learned.
• Then we’ll break into two groups for candid discussions (the students in one group and the parents in the other)

This promises to be full of great information about the many aspects of going away to school and living with T1D, that will help put your mind at ease about this transition. Materials will also be provided by the College Diabetes Network.
