Get ready to shred down the mountain and not let your diabetes stop you! Riding On Insulin is a great place to meet other kids and teens like you. Pro-snowboarder and type 1 diabetic Sean Busby will take you on the ride of your life, showing you how to manage your diabetes on the mountain when altitude, humidity and climate all play a role. Riding On Insulin will take place on March 9, 2013 at Eagle Point Resort in Southern Utah.

Riding On Insulin camps are open to beginners, intermediate and advanced riders ages 7-17. The day is spent on the mountain, skiing or snowboarding in groups with kids of the same ability level as you, coaches who have type 1 diabetes, and medical staff to assist in managing your diabetes! The program is a family-friendly event where siblings and family members are welcome to attend. Parents are encouraged to attend a parent networking session in the morning, as well as to take advantage of discounted lift tickets. Saturday night, Sean Busby will give a presentation after the awards and banquet about his story with diabetes as well as photos from his expeditions to some of the world’s most remote mountains in Iceland, Antarctica, Patagonia and more.
