Sloan Park

Sloan Park and the Chicago Cubs have been an incredible partner of JDRF for many years. Ron Santo played Major League Baseball for the Chicago Cubs from 1960 to 1973 and was elected to the Hall of Fame as a Cub in 2012.

In addition to becoming a celebrated third baseman while living with type 1 diabetes, Santo was also a dedicated JDRF friend and supporter, hosting the Ron Santo Walk to Cure Diabetes in Illinois for decades and helping to raise over $60 million for JDRF.

The JDRF One Walk, Arizona takes place at Sloan Park, which offers exciting activities in the stadium including kids running the bases and team photos at the Wrigley Field replica marquee.
