You don’t want to miss the Georgia Chapter’s Type One Nation Summit on February 29, 2020 at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center. Get ready for a jam-packed, empowering day of presentations, research updates and workshops geared to all ages and all stages of living – and thriving – with type 1 diabetes.

Some of our featured speakers include Dr. Nicole Johnson, National Director of Mission at JDRF and former Miss America; Eric Tozer, Co-founder of Diabetes Sports Project who recently completed the arduous World Marathon Challenge – 7 Marathons on 7 Continents in 7 Days. Scott Benner, host of the wildly popular “Juicebox Podcast” will be joining us along with 2 representatives from Integrated Diabetes Services in Philly – author, athlete, CDE and registered/licensed dietician Jenny Smith, and CDE, MSW and Diabetes Coach Diana Herbert. Local endocrinologists, CHOA, Trialnet will also be there, plus many more.

There will be fun youth programming- Teen Central for the tweens and teens (with visits from special guests, video games, activities and more) and Kid’s Camp for the K-4th graders. Last but not least a whole track is being dedicated to Taking Diabetes to College for 11th and 12th grade students and their parents/guardians.
