Every child with type 1 diabetes (T1D) has a legal right to a Section 504 Plan or an Individual Educational Plan (IEP) to ensure he/she is safe at school. Daniel O. Phelan, Esq., founder, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of the Type 1 Action Foundation and Director of the Center for Diabetes Rights at Eisenberg & Baum, LLP, will join us to walk you through the process so you are prepared for your child’s annual Committee on Special Education meeting.
