Grab your support team, grandparents, babysitters, teachers, school nurses and other caregivers and offer them this opportunity to learn basic skills for the management of T1D. This training is designed for those who want to support families living with T1D, by giving them a safe childcare option.

Join Sheila Dennehy, RN, MSN, CDCES, Manager of the Pediatric Diabetes Program at NYU Winthrop Hospital for a virtual workshop geared to offer confidence in managing a loved oneās diabetes while in their care.Ā Sheila is a certified pump and sensor trainer and teaches new onset patients and families on how to manage T1D. She coordinates research and facilitates day to day practice for the program at NYU Winthrop.
