Our Eastern Pennsylvania Ride Team attended 4 of the 2015 Ride to Cure Diabetes events: Burlington, Vt; La Crosse, WI, Lake Tahoe, CA; and the Hincapie Gran Fondo in South Carolina. Thank you and congratulations to all of our dedicated riders! We’d like to highlight our team’s coach, Steve Burgo, for his boundless enthusiasm and commitment to JDRF and the Ride to Cure program. Steve trained for and rode in both the Burlington and Hincapie Rides this year, surpassing his fundraising minimums and completing the full-length course for both (and the Hincapie Ride is notoriously difficult, with intensely inclined hills and mountainous terrain). Thank you Coach Steve for being such an inspiration, both on the bike and off!
