November is National Diabetes Awareness Month! During the month of November, we’ll be featuring “Faces of Diabetes”, stories of our loved ones living with Type 1 Diabetes.

Today, we want you to meet Gracie:

Gracie is 8  years old and was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes almost 2 years ago at the age of 7 on November 14, 2003. Gracie is in 3rd grade and loves swimming, ice skating, watching you-tube and eating ice cream! She has a younger sister, Ellie. Gracie wants to be an artist when she grows up.
