Back to School? JDRF Kids Walk is the perfect community service program this year

Looking for an enjoyable fundraising activity that allows your youth or teen to take charge?  Choose JDRF Kids Walk to Cure Diabetes and ask your child’s school or youth organization to host a JDRF community service program to support diabetes research.

With JDRF Kids Walk program, your child’s school or youth group (sports team, girl’s and boy’s clubs, church groups, National Honor Society, Student Council, etc.)  can select from one of our fun and easy fundraising ideas such as – JDRF Kids Walk at school, spare change collection,  JDRF paper sneaker sales or they can create their own creative idea.

The JDRF Kids Walk program is an educational, in-school fundraising program for Elementary and Middle Schools with two goals: 1) to educate students about type 1 and type 2 diabetes and the importance of a healthy lifestyle, and 2) to provide them with an opportunity to make a difference by raising money for type 1 diabetes (T1D) research.

Our program helps to foster an environment of positive character building and community service. It’s FUN, it’s EASY, and it’s EDUCATIONAL! And… it’s all about Kids Helping Kids!
