Less than three weeks away from our upcoming fall One Walks in Newtown, Reading, and Philadelphia, the breaking news of FDA approval of the artificial pancreas system is a true testament to the reason JDRF exists.
We could not have done it without your ongoing support of JDRF One Walk, and now we will have even more to celebrate on Walk Day!
Making Walk Day a special experience, our new families are treated to a complimentary One Walk draw-string back pack, our heroes living with T1D – a “Looks Like Me” bandana, and every registered team member who raises $100 or more – a JDRF One Walk T-shirt.
While our V1Ps who have raised $1,000 or more are recognized with a one-of-kind lanyard, award, and special breakfast.
Walk Day has something for everybody – whether a new or returning team! From entertainment to advocacy, opportunities abound to meet and mingle with other families and exhibitors, while enjoying family friendly activities with your loved ones.

Wawa Fundraising Campaign – September 12 – October 30
Wawa is proud to continue its support of JDRF as a Champion Partner with our scan-able and coin collection fundraising campaigns. With the dedication of our local Wawa employees and more than 700 stores through portions of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and Florida, Wawa is proud to support JDRF! We need YOUR help to thank them for their years of support and continued generosity. We want to personally visit and thank each location during their corporate campaigns to say thank you! Please stop by your local Wawa, thank them for their support, share your T1D story, and/or take a picture with the employees so the JDRF Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter can share it on our social media pages.
