We are excited to announce the arrival of two new staff members to the Eastern PA chapter!

Joe Paprzycki– Development Manager

Joe Paprzycki is a lifelong New Jersey resident who has just recently joined JDRF after a sixteen year career with the American Red Cross Blood Services in Philadelphia, PA. While at the ARC Joe created and implemented the High School Donor Program where he conducted over one hundred high school assemblies per year throughout New Jersey and southeastern PA bringing in an average of 38,000 first time donors to the blood supply. He is excited to join JDRF as a Development Manager as a part of the Walk team.Ā  Joe also has family ties to Type 1 and is dedicated to help in finding a cure.

In his other life Joe is an award winning playwright of over fifty works and was the founding Producing Artistic Director of the South Camden Theatre Company in Camden, NJ.He has also taught playwriting and scriptwriting at LaSalle University and Rosemont College.

Christina Cimino- Development Manager, Ride and Signature Events

Christina was born and raised in Bethlehem, PA. She attended Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT where she graduated with a degree in Communications. In 2013, Christina started working at ArtsQuest. One of the roles she took on at the organization was being a temporary Development Assistant where she gained valuable experience with events and development. Following her time at ArtsQuest, she began working for a company called Ravenscroft Crystal where she was the Director of Sales and Business Development.

Christina is extremely excited to be joining the Eastern PA Chapter team as the Development Manager for Ride and Signature Events. Her finance, Dennis, is Type 1 and diabetes research and community support is incredibly important to her.

She currently resides in Bethlehem, PA with her finance, Dennis, and their furry child, Lewis the cat. In her free time, she loves to travel, lounge on the beach as much as possible, participate in serious pinball tournaments in the Northeast and recently started to plan her and Dennisā€™ wedding.
