Bring JDRF Back to School!

What is the JDRF Kids Walk to Cure Program?

It’s an educational fundraising program held at your child’s school. The program has two goals – (1) to educate students about diabetes and the importance of a healthy lifestyle and (2) to provide students with the opportunity to make a difference in their community by raising money for type 1 diabetes.

But we need your help!  If you have not already done so, please ask your school—your child’s teacher, the nurse, the PTO, the principal—to help raise awareness and educate the student body, faculty and families about diabetes. Help us honor our loved ones living with T1D.

As a parent of a kid helping kids, YOU can take it one step further! With your permission, your child can raise funds to help create a world without T1D.

For more information about the program or how to work with your school, please call CarlaAnn Henry, Outreach Manager, at 610-227-0361 or email chenry@jdrf.org. You can also visit the Kids Walk website at kidswalk.jdrf.org.
