On June 13^th, we held our first JDRF Greater Delaware Valley Chapter virtual gala hosted by emcee, Karen Rogers from 6abc news and auctioneer extraordinaire Steve Katz. We honored our 2020 Living and Giving Award Recipients; Rob Curley, Market President of TD Bank in Southern New Jersey and Lee Ducat, JDRF Founder. Along with our Distinguished Service Award Recipient, Dr. Shara Bialo.

We lived the message, The Power of US during these times of covid-19 and reimagining events. Your help, time, and donations made a significant impact on our success.

We are very thankful for our Gala Chairs across all three markets; Bevin & Michael Hileman, Lori Reiner Rovins, Norman and Suzanne Cohn, and Alan and Jill Miller. Plus our gala committee members who supported all efforts from the auction, to corporate giving, and of course Fund A Cure.

We are so grateful to our Fund A Cure speakers; Jackie Chain, Bonnie O’Neil, Kelly Finger, Samantha Gallucio who shared their stories with everyone. Thanks to our amazing community, this year we raised more in Fund A Cure than we ever have which added to the success of the gala!

We cannot thank you all enough for your support over the last few months to make our virtual gala a true success. We broke through every barrier together in honor of our vision: A world without type 1 diabetes.
