The JDRF Greater Delaware Valley Chapter is proud to announce we will be honoring Truist and its retail insurance business McGriff with the JDRF Living and Giving award at the 2023 One Dream Gala on Saturday, April 15, 2023. Partnering with Truist and McGriff over the years has been a clear driver in helping to move our mission forward, and we are thrilled to celebrate and recognize their remarkable commitment.

The purpose of the greater Truist organization is to inspire and build better lives and communities. Since 2013, the company has taken that focus and applied it in their support of and dedication to JDRF chapters across the country to become increasingly dedicated partners in type 1 diabetes (T1D) research.

The solid support and pursuit to help build better lives in the T1D community has been felt across JDRF, from Walk and Gala sponsorships to direct campaign funding. As Executive Director (JDRF Delaware Valley Chapter) Lindsay Fortese notes, “We are truly grateful for the generosity that Truist and McGriff continue to provide to JDRF. We would not be able to carry our mission forward without such amazing partners. continuing to make a difference.”
