It’s a new year and JDRF Greater New England is counting down the days to Saturday, May 7 for our 40th Annual JDRF Greater New England Gala—One Night! Thanks to the amazing generosity from our community that has ensured the success of our auction year after year. 

Art | “Small Joys” by Yvonne Claveloux—Value: $1,800

24×24 original canvas painting in a white frame. Yvonne Claveloux is a Connecticut-born abstract artist who studied fashion design in Milan, Italy and eventually became the head stylist for atHome Magazine. Her use of vibrant colors, organic shapes and uninhibited brush strokes merge on her canvasses to evoke a sense of spontaneous energy. Generously donated by Yvonne Claveloux.

 

Dining | Jamaica Mi Hungry food truck—Value: $900
Don’t worry, be happy! This Jamaican food truck will come to your home and serve your 20 guests chips and tropical salsa, jerk chicken, beef patties, rice and beans, plantains, and roasted vegetables. The Jamaica Mi Hungry restaurant located in Jamaica Plain was voted one of the best new restaurants in Boston in 2019. Be on the lookout for another location coming to the Seaport soon! The owners generously donated many meals during the COVID-19 pandemic. Ernie is a huge supporter of JDRF and has generously donated his truck five years in a row!
