JDRF New England Chapter Announcement

Dear JDRF Supporter,

Over the coming months, New England Chapter Executive Director Amy Montalto will transition into a new role at JDRF as National Director for the T1D Fund—a venture philanthropy platform focused on investment in early-stage type 1 diabetes (T1D) commercial opportunities. We want to thank Amy for her extraordinary leadership over the past six years, during which time we have grown exponentially in not only our fundraising but our impact on and engagement of the local T1D community. We are very excited for Amy and thrilled that she will continue to work for and to strengthen JDRF in this new and exciting role.

Amy credits the New England Chapter’s success to the dedicated partnership of our passionate volunteers for which she is personally and professionally thankful.

We will be launching a search for a new ED in the coming weeks and look forward to introducing you to the incoming Executive Director once they are identified. We know that Amy will be a tough act to follow, but we are confident that we will find a strong successor to help us to continue our momentum and our progress.

Until then, thank you for your ongoing support and partnership as we work together with JDRF to fulfill our shared vision of a world without type 1 diabetes.

Sincerely,

Lisa F. Wallack
President, JDRF New England Chapter Board of Directors
Member, JDRF International Board of Directors
