Join Cassady Kintner, MS, LMFT for her Summer Workshop for Parents of Kids with T1D. In these virtual sessions Cassady will help parents learn to handle “Diabetes Burnout,” learn strategies for transitioning diabetes responsibility, empowered that your child can have ownership of their T1D, and much more!

  • Child/teen isĀ dishonest about blood sugar and other diabetes responsibilities
  • Child/teenĀ does not ā€œtake diabetes seriouslyā€, even after traumatic events
  • You (theĀ parent) donā€™t knowĀ when to step in and help or step back and let your child/teen take the lead (am I doing this right?!)
  • Your child/teenĀ doesnā€™t listen to you
  • How toĀ balance diabetes responsibilities with letting your child/teen have a ā€œnormalā€ (relatively speaking given the world today) life

 

Date/time: Wednesdays from 5-7pm, 7/22, 7/29, 8/5, 8/12, 8/19 & 8/26.

Registration deadline is Friday, July 17.
