| With only a few more days until Walk Day, I thought it was time to provide you with important information regarding donations and event information.
We will be accepting donations in the office until 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 16th. After that, please plan to turn in your donations on Walk Day in the envelopes provided at the Check-in tent. Speaking of Walk Day, here is everything you need to know about Walk Day:

9:00 a.m. Check-In, Sponsor/Team Village, Kids Activities, T-shirt Contest Voting and Stage Activities Begin
10:00 a.m. START – 1 Mile, 2 Miles or 3 Miles
11:00 a.m. Lunch and Activities Continue
11:30 a.m. T-Shirt Contest Winners Announced at Stage
The Walk will take place rain or shine.
WALK ROUTE
The Walk Route is located on The Nature Park trail. We encourage everyone to walk 3 loops (3 miles) of the trail. However, it is easy to just hop off the trail after 1 mile or 2 miles if you need to.
CHECK-IN INFORMATION
Check-In will be located at one of the first tents when you enter the park. Please make sure to stop by the check-in tent and turn in your fundraising dollars or if you haven’t registered, you can register here. Participants who fundraise $100 will receive a One Walk T-Shirt. There is a tent for One Walk T-Shirt Pickup next to the check-in tent.
V1P’s
All participants who fundraised $1,000 or more will gain access to the V1P tent to pick up some goodies on One Walk day.
NEW FAMILIES – Sponsored by Deviney/Baker
All new families should make sure to stop by the New Families Tent and pick up some goodies. Our outreach committee members will be in the tent to greet you.

THE NATURE PARK
From I-55: Take the Lakeland exit NORTH toward Carthage. Go 6.1 miles down Lakeland Drive. Take a left onto Old Fannin Road. Turn right onto Flowood Drive. Parking will be about .3 Miles on your left at Winners Circle Park, Flowood Elementary School, Flowood Library and Flowood Baptist Church. There will be volunteers helping to direct you.
