Houston Gulf Coast Chapter invites you to apply to become a Gala Youth Ambassador at the Midnight in Monaco JDRF 2020 Promise Ball on May 2nd at the Hilton Americas!
Ambassadors play an important role in the evening’s festivities by helping welcome guests and assisting with special portions of the ballroom programming at this black tie event that raises funds for life-changing type 1 diabetes research.
There are a limited amount of spots available each year for the Gala Youth Ambassadors, so participants are selected thought an application process via selection committee. Applications are accepted Wed, Jan 8th through Wednesday, Jan 22nd.
Ambassador Guidelines:
Must be a child between 6-17 living with type 1 diabetes
Must be able to participate in photo shoot and art project on Saturday, Feb 8th at Lexicon Pharmaceuticals in The Woodlands
At least one parent must either attend the Gala as a ticketed guest or by volunteering night of event.
Ambassadors are also asked to make a donation in the amount of $100 towards the Gala’s Auction
