Who are you walking for?
Our son Tommy.

How did you pick your team’s name?
Tommy’s nickname is Tomtom.

Do you have any Walk Day traditions?
Not yet.

What is your favorite memory from your first walk?
Just seeing all the families there for one purpose! There’s so much publicity for type 2 diabetes that it can be discouraging and lonely. The JDRF One Walk brings light to those affected by T1D and the loneliness disappears for one day when we are all together!
