The Illinois Chapter of JDRF cordially invites you to an event specifically for Grandparents of Children with type 1 diabetes (T1D). Whether you live across the street or across the country from your grandchild with T1D, you can make a difference.

At this informal gathering, you will be able to meet other grandparents, learn how to better support and care for your grandchild with T1D, and learn how JDRF is driving life-changing treatments and cures. Dr. Rosemary Briars, Co-Director of the Chicago Children’s Diabetes Center at La Rabida Children’s Hospital will be leading the discussion.
10:30 am – Coffee Reception
11:00 am-12:00pm – Presentation followed by Q&A
