St. Louis Office Announcement

in ,

JDRF recently announced our strategy to accelerate our mission and become more volunteer-powered. As part of this strategy, we are a leaner organization with three regions, 29 new Chapters and fewer staff sharing resources across larger geographic areas. As you know, the Greater Missouri and Southern Illinois and Kansas City Chapters have now joined together as one: Ā Kansas and Missouri Chapter.

A more streamlined and less costly chapter model is core to maximizing our efficiency and driving every dollar possible to our mission. The impact of COVID forced us to explore new and innovative ways to bring our community together and engage new supporters passionate about our mission. While we are committed to our core fundraising events and look forward to the day we can all gather together again, we will be vacating the Greater Missouri and Southern Illinois Chapter office space as of September 30, 2020. Ā Ā All chapter leases are currently under review and all chapter staff are working from home through December 31, 2020.

Our important work in the Greater Missouri and Southern Illinois region will continue to be supported by the following staff in the St. Louis area:

Tori Freeman
Chris Reilly
Kayla Taszarek

Their phone numbers and e-mails will remain the same as they transition to working from home.Ā  Please direct all mail to:

By reducing physical office spaces, staff and volunteers will continue working together remotely to build community and create connections outside our traditional chapter footprint. We will also reduce organizational expenses, enabling us to drive more funds toward our critical mission to cure, prevent and treat T1D.

Volunteers are JDRFā€™s greatest strength. From the beginning, JDRF has been aĀ volunteer-poweredĀ organization and we look forward to empowering you more than ever to use your time, talents and passion to propel JDRF to an even higher level of impact.

Thank you for your continued support!
