In November, O.B. Gates Elementary School hosted a JDRF Kids Walk  where their students got to learn about all types of diabetes, healthy living, and the importance of philanthropy. Through paper sneaker sales they raised $565 towards type 1 diabetes research! The JDRF Kids Walk program can be implemented at any elementary, middle, or high school and can be catered to the school’s needs.
